Tampa Jesuit Lacrosse vs Benjamin School in IA State Championship

Tampa Jesuit High School (15-1) defeated Fort Myers-Bishop Verot 13-11 in the state semifinals to advance to the championship game versus The Bejamin School. Benjamin had an incredible second-half run in the Interscholastic Associates state semifinals as the Buccaneers rallied with a dozen consecutive goals to beat defending champion Dwyer 18-16 on Friday at Boca Raton High.



The game went into overtime but the Tigers couldn’t hold on as Benjamin went on to claim the victory 12-11.Congratulations to the Jesuit Tigers on a great season finishing as the state runner up with an impressive 15-2 record.



Benjamin School is the Florida 2010 IA Lacrosse State Champion. Congrats to the Buccaneers boys lacrosse team on a solid season !

Tampa Jesuit HS Lacrosse Team Advances to IA Semifinal

2010 Tampa Jesuit High School Varsity Lacrosse Team

The Jesuit Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse team won in convincing fashion Saturday night with a 16-3 victory over first-year sensation East Lake. The team jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back as the team kept the foot on the accelerator for the entire contest.



The Tigers hit the road on Friday, April 16th to take on Bishop Verot at Boca Raton High School in the state semifinal game at 6:30 p.m. The championship game will be on Saturday at 7 p.m. and more details can be found on the Jesuit Lacrosse facebook fan page. The boys lacrosse program at Jesuit proved to be a powerhouse this year, producing 12 players who were selected for the WFLL All-League Teams.
